Prime Psychiatry is committed to providing individualized care using evidence-based principles. We provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (for treatment of depression), Spravato, telepsychiatry, addiction treatment, disability evaluations and individual/couples counseling. Our services are offered to children, adolescents, and adults from 11–65-years. Prime Psychiatry was founded by Dr Efosa Airuehia, who is quadruple board certified in General Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Addiction Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine.

In keeping with the tenets of Lifestyle Medicine, we are proponents of evidence-based lifestyle therapeutic approaches, such as good nutrition, exercise, stress management, tobacco and alcohol cessation, good sleep hygiene, and other non-drug modalities to aid in the management of mental disorders.

Prime Psychiatry believes in keeping ahead of the curve with respect to treatment modalities and technology. We offer Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, a non-drug FDA-approved treatment for depression. We also provide Telepsychiatry via eVisit, a service which provides HIPAA compliant videoconferencing, meaning patients can been seen on their computers, tablets or phones, without coming to our physical office location. We accept most major health insurance panels and are currently accepting new patients.
